Wayne Nickles has been promoted to observe chief of Science + Expertise (S+T) in HOK’s Washington, D.C., studio; Vance Cheatham has been elevated to principal – design in Atlanta; and Neil Sauer has joined HOK as architectural observe chief in Miami.
Wayne Nickles, AIA, LEED AP, brings greater than 25 years of design excellence to his architectural initiatives. He focuses on designing analysis and improvement services with high-profile initiatives together with AstraZeneca’s Kendall Sq. R&D Hub in Cambridge, Mass., and the UPMC Mercy Pavilion in Pittsburgh. As S+T observe chief, Nickles will lead HOK’s Science + Expertise initiatives within the Washington, D.C., area.
Vance Cheatham, AIA, LEED GA, has been promoted to principal – design of HOK’s Atlanta studio following Todd Bertsch’s retirement. Cheatham will form the general aesthetic and useful elements of initiatives within the Atlanta studio whereas mentoring crew members and fostering innovation. His expertise as a Peace Corps volunteer, constructing faculties in numerous nations, enhances his skill to create culturally delicate and inclusive designs.
Neil Sauer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is a seasoned architectural chief in HOK’s Miami workplace with greater than 30 years of design expertise. His experience spans numerous mission varieties, together with healthcare, larger training, municipalities, and sports activities and recreation services. He’s dedicated to advancing sustainable design practices that assist HOK’s mission to enhance folks’s lives by way of design.
